The East St. Tammany Chamber was given this honor recently at the 2010 American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Convention held in Milwaukee. "We are so proud of our members and board who helped us achieve this honor. Dian did an excellent job in working with the East St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors to facilitate our annual planning and Program of Work project. A newly published report by The Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute projects that female-owned small businesses, now just 16% of total U.S. employment, will be responsible for creating one-third of the 15.3 million new jobs anticipated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics by 2018.
